If you got a good boon for that, you can just sit back and spam the throw to keep yourself out of harms way. The shield is also fairly safe if you just sit back and use your shield throw. Getting the boon for improved attacks all by itself can be enough to carry you through the entire first floor with a bit of practise because you will just ragdoll most enemies with one bull rush into a wall for a quick kill. The last weapon, the Adamant Rail, can only be unlocked last - but the others can be. There is no shortage of variety in Hades.
