

“I wanted my first dress to be more suggestive than revealing, a dress that would make you feel both powerful and daring.


“It was the desire to make clothes that would be sexy and easy to wear at the same time,” she adds. Reynaud, who has had various stints working in the fashion industry, launched Marcia after having her second child. “My group of girlfriends became both my first clients, as well as a great source of inspiration,” she says. Reynaud launched the label in June 2018, based on the idea of what she believed both herself and her friends would want to wear.
